Section 8 Company · Non-ProfitBARREL has irrevocably committed 26% of its equity to Manee Foundation — a Section 8 (non-profit) company — as a permanent act of social philanthropy. This equity stake is non-dilutable and non-transferable, enshrined in perpetuity to protect BARREL's commitment to social good regardless of any future growth, funding rounds, or corporate restructuring.
Manee Foundation is promoted by the common promoters of BARREL — Stena Shah, Yakshni Shah and Marjaan Shah — ensuring alignment between corporate purpose and charitable mission. The Foundation's income from this stake will be deployed toward education, rural development, clean energy access for underserved communities, and farmer welfare aligned with BARREL's agrovoltaic mission.
